What would you like to report?

Choose the appropriate type of report.

Safety-relevant: suspected mould, foreign matter, broken seal/packaging, incorrect labelling. Open to everyone — no account needed.

Report a quality issue

No safety risk: texture, smell, too dry, consistency. For verified testers, linked to one of their own reviews.

Reporting a product problem — how it works

Have you noticed a defect in a product — e.g. suspected mould, foreign matter, incorrect labelling or a quality problem? Anyone can report it, even without an account. Your report is initially pseudonymised.

Important: please report as early as possible — ideally on the day of delivery or collection. The earlier we receive the report, the better the condition at dispensing can be traced. We also accept later reports.

1

Don't change anything

Stop using the product, do not transfer it to another container, do not remove anything. The pharmacy label stays fully on the packaging.
2

Take photos — before you reseal

  • Pharmacy dispensing label — fully legible (product name, batch, PZN, dispensing date)
  • Packaging — closed, from all sides including seal/closure
  • Invoice or dispensing receipt
  • The product itself — overview of the total quantity
  • Affected areas in detail — ideally as a macro shot, with good light and a steady hand; several angles help

Tip: cover your name and prescription details on the label photo — we only need product, batch and manufacturer information.

3

Submit report

Submit photos, a short description and an email address for follow-up questions. The report is initially pseudonymised — we will not pass on your contact details.
4

Keep everything in its original condition

Put the product back in its original packaging, reseal it and store it in a cool, dark place — do not dispose of it, do not transfer it and do not remove anything. The pharmacy label must stay fully on the packaging.
5

When we get in touch

If our review confirms the suspicion, we will contact you and ask whether we may pass on your contact details — so that the manufacturer or wholesaler can resolve the case with you. We inform the manufacturer or wholesaler; in safety-relevant suspected cases, a report is also made to the competent German federal authority. This happens regardless of whether a laboratory analysis is commissioned.

If an analysis is commissioned through us, you take the product in its original packaging, resealed and with the complete pharmacy label, to a pharmacy; from there the sample is forwarded to the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. If it is not commissioned through us, further action lies with the manufacturer or wholesaler — in both cases you will receive feedback.

Either way, your report is included in our analysis.
