Blind-test results from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, product warnings and availability from all manufacturers in one place, before you order. Free of charge for pharmacies.
The offer at a glance
You find all flowers from all manufacturers in one directory, with the information you need for purchasing. Cannabis-Transparent is independent and ad-free, in research cooperation with Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
Batches that have gone through the blind test at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin are marked and documented under identical conditions.
You continue to order where you order today. Nothing is sold via CT.
Anyone who wants to compare flowers today searches the professional websites of individual manufacturers, each with its own login, its own photos and its own terms. In the end, price is often the only point of comparison, because the properties of a batch can hardly be judged without the goods in hand.
CT brings this information together in one place and in a uniform format. The directory shows what is on the market. The blind test describes tested batches using the same criteria.
All flowers are displayed according to the same rules, with or without a test. There is no ranking, no overall grade and no paid placement. Manufacturers pay for the test, not for a result and not for their visibility.
The directory lists all flowers from all manufacturers. For each flower you see manufacturer, origin, THC, CBD, terpene content, irradiation, PZN and shelf life. You filter by manufacturer, form, availability, irradiation and test status and see at a glance which batches have gone through the blind test.
Information without testing is marked as “manufacturer's statement, unverified”.
What is available and which batches are coming soon.
The manufacturer's or wholesaler's contact person for your enquiry, visible only to healthcare professionals.
The manufacturer's CoA, where uploaded, marked as a manufacturer document.
The professional newsletter for doctors and pharmacies informs you about upcoming batches, new products and newly tested batches according to fixed rules that are the same for all suppliers.
The blind test at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin
Manufacturers and wholesalers can have their batches tested at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. For you, this is the part that makes flowers comparable: every tested batch goes through the same procedure.
Each sample receives a blind code. Three trained assessors evaluate it independently of one another according to a fixed training guide, without knowing brand or strain. The three judgements produce one result per characteristic: the majority applies, and if all three differ, the middle value. The characteristics are reported individually, not combined into a grade.
From 10 g of each batch, images are taken under identical conditions: overall view on grid paper with a ruler, macro shots of the trichomes, the broken-open flower, the ground sample and a 360° video. The same quantity, the same light, the same scale. This lets you assess two batches side by side without having the goods in hand.
For batches with the extended test, the analytical laboratory of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin additionally determines 13 cannabinoids and 10 terpenes. This yields the chemotype profile of the batch. The laboratory analysis does not replace the manufacturer's batch release and does not call it into question. Healthcare professionals see the laboratory values in the directory.
Every batch that has gone through the blind test receives the test label with test scope and test date. It means “tested and documented”, not better or worse. You see the differences between batches in the characteristics and images: a loose flower is not worse than a compact one, it is different.
Results are published as the panel determined them, even if they are unfavourable. Manufacturers cannot withdraw them.
Safety-relevant findings. If the panel finds, for example, suspected mould or foreign bodies, the finding is published with the result and CT's product warning procedure applies. Pharmacies with a registered warning contact are informed directly.
If a flower is unavailable due to a supply shortage or is discontinued, you can compare the characteristics and, where available, the chemotype profiles of other batches side by side in the directory. CT makes no recommendation; the choice lies with you and the prescribing doctors. The more batches are tested, the more data is available for this comparison.
After logging in via DocCheck you have your own area. From there you reach new products with CoA, availability in the directory, current product warnings and the contacts of manufacturers and wholesalers.
Register a contact for product warnings. If a batch is affected, CT informs you by email and, on request, additionally via WhatsApp, immediately with every warning or collected once a day. This information is not public and is used only for product warnings.
Patients who describe a flower on CT can also assess the dispensing: delivery time, condition on arrival, packaging and advice. You see the result per characteristic as a traffic light with count and trend as soon as at least five responses are available. Only you see this evaluation. It is not public, is not combined into a grade and serves your own quality assurance.
You import your product range as a list or maintain it directly in the portal. For each product you see the status, warnings and the supplier's contact.
Cannabis-Transparent works on the basis of a signed cooperation agreement with Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. As a research partner, you invite your patients to describe flowers on CT using the uniform scheme, so that batches are also documented in practice. Feedback is processed only with explicit consent, pseudonymised and evaluated only from five responses per characteristic (k ≥ 5); data protection under the GDPR. Participation is free of charge.
